Good morning...

It's a foggy and misty morning in downtown Jacksonville...

So far...

I woke up with a slight cold but nothing that will slow me down hopefully...

Things are looking up for the Jaguars!!!

Jaguars QB David Garrard

I had a good weekend...

I watched the AMA's last night...

I thought Jay-Z and Alicia Keys doing "Empire State of Mind" was an amazing performance... The best of the show in my opinion...

Speaking of New York City...

Gitmo detainees will use trial as platform to bash America!!!

Bleeding-heart Barack Obama and interest-conflicted Eric Holder are all too happy to serve as executive directors for the 9/11 show trials.

Hey, why not turn them into a Broadway play while you’re at it, White House?

Obama now pleading for money to fight Sarah Palin!!!

Never shy about $eeking money, Democratic President Obama's Organizing for America is now using the threat of Republican Sarah Palin as an opportunity to acquire more.

It has just sent an e-mail out to its millions of supporters today pleading for urgent donations to fight the mother of five, now on her heavily-publicized, cross-country book promotion bus tour.

Tomorrow will be the one year anniversary of my Dad's death...

How do you solve this problem without Sarah?

Newsweek advertised its cover story on the release of Sarah Palin’s “Going Rogue” by asking, “How do you solve a problem like Sarah?”

This headline was informed by the same journalistic standards that led the Washington Post to publish a book review by someone who admits she didn’t read the book – and then prompted MSNBC to invite this person on the air as an expert on the book she didn’t read.

Newsweek apparently couldn’t be bothered to watch “The Sound of Music” all the way through, because Maria is the hero of the piece.

The nuns singing “How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?” are singing about suppressing the very spirit that will help Maria save her family from totalitarian oppression.

Considering Palin’s indestructible good cheer, if she runs for office again, I wouldn’t be surprised if she used “How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?” as a campaign song... and thanked Newsweek for the suggestion.

Are we watching a failed Presidency?

For the past couple of months I have worried about the risks of a failed presidency.

No one should want this, regardless of party affiliation.

It is harmful and dangerous to our economy and country.

However, it appears obvious to me that the royal regime known as Obama has ended.

Seth Leibsohn writing in the National Review summarized it this way:

"This is reminiscent of the Jimmy Carter years - the last time the U.S. was seen as weak - unable to move and coax other countries, unable to reassure dependent allies, unable to have the respect of the world and, of course, unable to move the mullocracy of Iran."

Even the liberal media are beginning to question the effectiveness of the President.

The media, in full Camelot mode, are slow to react and often lag what the populace started to recognize months ago.

The Demacare bribe list!!!

This is one of the biggest grabs for power ever in our history, by one of the most corrupt governments we’ve had.

If ever this thing passes, along with all the climate change bills, we will be completely under their control, in every facet of our lives.

The sad part is that many Americans don’t care, dumbed-down over time, or believe in the society “enemies” that the government claims (like health insurance and the “rich”)

Tapping the Golden Vein!!!

Centuries ago, at the beginning of the Obama Administration, we were told that the “obscene” bonuses of AIG executives should be taxed away, with special taxes that amounted to bills of attainder.

This is not the first time we’ve seen specific industries targeted with massive taxes because they were deemed immoral.

The outstanding example is the tobacco industry, which the government uses as a trained vampire, sending it forth to suck tax revenue from the lungs of smokers.

Big Oil gets soaked with a lot of taxes, too, justified in part by the merciless profiteering and environmental disdain of its chief executives.

Of course, Big Tobacco and Big Oil still make money, but the government makes more from their products than they do.

How much sway will our Diversity Czar have?

With all that we have thus far seen, things look quite grim from a free speech, free market perspective.

The groundwork for government information totalitarianism - favored by people like Hugo Chavez-loving FCC "Diversity Czar" Mark Lloyd and Marxist "media reform"-outfit Free Press founder Robert McChesney - is being laid in the Plan being crafted by FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski.

Heather Ellis escapes jail time from Walmart lynching scandal!!!

She was an IDIOT for her behavior.

Still, this sounds like a situation that just snowballed from all angles.

No sympathy for her troubles however.

Turn the page...

Have a great weekend!!!
